About Matt

Matt Kauzlarich is an award-winning graphic designer from Detroit, who specializes in brand direction and strategy. His work has been featured in LogoLounge, LogoPond, Computer Arts Magazine, Behance, and Dribbble and he has participated in events for Adobe and AIGA. He has worked for some large companies in the industry that, unfortunately, cannot be named due to NDAs, so use your imagination.

In July of 2011, Matt started his own design company, Studio 1344, and has been working as an independent artist ever since.

In his free time, Matt enjoys following his beloved Lions, Red Wings and Wolverines, reading Brandon Sanderson novels, listening to emo music from the 2000s, lightly jogging around during pickup soccer games, rewatching episodes of Arrested Development and Happy Endings, scrolling through Twitter, eating a bowl of cereal, or playing his guitar far too loudly during church. He is naturally awful at every video game that is not NCAA Football or Halo 3; but he was born with the innate ability to get along with any cat and considers it a fair trade.
